What is Pure Reform? (overview provided by Pure Barre)
My Version
When I was told to grab all of the equipment and hook straps onto the floor, I somehow knew that this would be a serious workout! Once I was all set up at my station, the warm-up moved very quickly (similar to Classic classes) and we got right to business-toning, burning out and fatiguing all of the muscles (even muscles that I didn’t know that I had). Let’s be clear, I’ve been a hardcore Pure Barre client for over 3 years and every minute of this class was still a challenge, which I LOVED! You use your own body weight vs using weights (2lb. 3lb and 5lb options are what I am used to)as a part of the workout. After class I realized how much I used my hand/eye coordination to move both my lower and upper body with the tubing at the same time.
Pure Reform Benefits (explanation provided by Pure Barre)
Benefits That We Can All Get Excited About!
Pure Barre has truly evolved over the years to be a one stop shop. I love that I can now go to one place and pick from an assortment of classes (low impact, interval training & resistance training). I love that Pure Barre has always maintained that your workout is for YOU! Size, age, fitness level, etc…don’t matter. Pure Reform is no different and with this workout even your height doesn’t matter. I’m excited to incorporate each of the class offerings into my weekly schedule and keep track of how my body changes over time.
So whose meeting me at the barre?

What weights do you recommend for the reform class – I’ve been at the barre for 2+ years religiously … but still want focus on form … I’m thinking 3 lbs? Thanks!
